What is this?
APIBench is a community-maintained directory and comparison tool for developer APIs. It helps developers compare reported latency, reliability, pricing, and SDK support across popular APIs before committing to an integration.

Data Sources
Performance data is compiled from publicly available sources:
- Public status pages and uptime monitoring services
- Developer reports and community submissions from US-East regions under normal load conditions
- Publicly available performance reports and provider documentation
- Community-submitted data points and corrections
Latency figures represent typical response times for standard API operations (e.g., a chat completion for AI APIs, a payment intent creation for payment APIs). Cold start times, streaming responses, and burst scenarios are not reflected in these averages.
Percentile figures (p50, p95, p99) are derived from sustained testing periods reported by community contributors, not from single-request measurements.
